A Water Contact Not Recommended advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on 9/17/2009 for Burlington Bay Beach. Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected 9/16/2009 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled 9/17/2009.
